Immunizations / Vaccinations

Protecting our community from vaccine-preventable disease is a priority at Johnson County Public Health, where we offer a full spectrum of vaccines for young people under 19 years of age on a suggested-donation basis. For more information or to make an appointment, call our Buffalo office at 684-2564, or stop by 85 Klondike Drive.

Childhood Immunizations
Johnson County Public Health offers free immunizations for any child up to his or her 19th birthday. To enroll your children in a Wyoming school, you are required to keep them up to date on their immunizations. Our office provides all the mandatory vaccinations against serious illness. While the state supplies us with childhood vaccine at no cost, a suggested donation of $1 to $3 will help ensure we are able to continue offering this great program.

Adult Vaccines

For a limited time, the Wyoming Dept of Health is offering free vaccines to adults between the ages of 19 and 64 years who do not have access to health insurance coverage for immunizations. These include immunizations to help protect against disease such as:
~Diptheria
~ Hepatitis A & B
~Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
~Measles
~Mumps
~Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
~Pneumonia
~Rubella (German Measles)
~Tetanus (Lockjaw)
~Varicella (Chickenpox)
~Zoster (Shingles)
Our office offers certain vaccines for adults only. The Wyoming Department of Health also recommends a vaccination schedule especially for adults, to guard against such diseases as Hepatitis A and B, influenza and pneumonia.
